Every OHMV trade is an OHM trade.
OHMV trades against OHM in one pool and nothing else. Buying it with ETH means buying OHM first, on OHM's own pools; selling it ends there too; every bond locks OHM for good. This page counts what that adds up to, swap by swap, from the launch block on.
OHM volume, before and after
Daily volume of OHM's four main Ethereum pools, with the OHMV pool on top. The gold band starts at launch.
Since launch, hour by hour
OHM's pools since launch
Every swap since the launch block, by pool, counted and measured.

How OHMV moves OHM
Buys start on OHM's pools
ETH has no direct route to OHMV. The site router, GMGN, bots and aggregators all buy OHM first, mostly on OHM/WETH, then swap it for OHMV. Every OHMV buy is an OHM buy.
A new OHM market
The OHMV/OHM pool quotes OHMV in OHM only. Its volume is OHM changing hands, on a pool that did not exist before 7 October.
OHM that never leaves
2% of every trade and 97.5% of every bond go into the pool as OHM, and the pool has no withdraw function. That OHM is out of circulation for good.
How this is measured
What counts as OHMV-driven?
A swap on one of OHM's pools that happened in the same transaction as a swap on the OHMV/OHM pool, or a bond. That catches the site router, GMGN, bots and aggregators alike. OHM bought on its own and bonded later is not counted, so the number errs low.
Which pools?
OHM's four main Ethereum pools by volume: OHM/WETH 0.3%, OHM/sUSDS 0.3%, OHM/USDC 0.3% and OHM/WETH 1% on Uniswap v3. Smaller pools carry a few hundred dollars a day and are left out.
Where do the numbers come from?
Since launch: Swap events read straight from Ethereum, every block from 26,142,760. Before launch: daily pool volume from GeckoTerminal. Dollar values use each day's OHM price. Refreshed every 10 minutes.
Why measure in OHM?
Because OHM is what moves. Dollar figures move with OHM's price; the OHM figures do not.
