What does staking pay?
Type an amount and see what it would have earned, and what it can earn from here, worked out from the chain every few seconds. Staking rewards are new OHMV minted every 6 hours when the OHM backing each token sets a new high. Some epochs pay the 2% cap, some pay nothing.
The pay meter
Rewards calculator
Three ways to read the future. Funded now replays the Ratchet's own maths on the pool exactly as it is: it pays while backing stays above the mark and stops when that gap is used up. It only grows when trading fees and bonds add OHM. Average since launch spreads everything paid so far over every epoch, including the ones that paid nothing. Upper bound is the 2% cap every 6 hours, which needs a new backing high every single epoch; treat it as a ceiling, not a forecast. With compounding on, everyone else is assumed to restake too. None of these is a promise.

How rewards are paid
Where the reward comes from
Every trade pays a 5% fee and part of it compounds OHM into the pool, and every bond adds OHM. When the OHM behind each OHMV sets a new high (checked at the epoch's lowest point, in OHM and in dollars), the Ratchet mints new OHMV to stakers: 0.75 × supply × the growth over the mark, at most 2% of supply per epoch.
How your share is worked out
A mint is split across all OHMV that is earning at that tick, pro rata. A new stake is pending until the next tick and earns from the one after. Rewards pile up as unclaimed OHMV; claim any time, or restake them to compound. Unstaking takes a 6-hour cooldown.
your reward = mint × your stake ÷ all stakedat each paying tickQuestions
Why are there three numbers?
Because nobody knows the next epoch in advance. The Ratchet pays only on a new backing high, so the honest answer is a range: what the last paying epoch would give, what today's pool can still pay with no new OHM, and what the average since launch has been.
Why does a bigger stake earn a lower rate?
Each mint is shared by everyone staked. The calculator adds your amount to the pool first, so the rate it shows is the one you would actually get.
Are the dollar amounts real?
They use today's OHMV price. If the price moves, the dollar value moves with it; the OHMV amounts don't change.
Does compounding happen by itself?
No. Rewards collect as unclaimed OHMV. Press Compound on the staking page (or claim and stake again) to add them to your stake. Compounding restarts the 6-hour unstake lock on your whole position.
